Parent/Student Orientation
Choose one of July 29 or August 5.
This is an orientation for all new and return students and families.
Sign up for and arrive for any one of the start times between 10:00 and 2:00 and travel through our Orientation Circuit. Expect to spend 1-2 hours plus any fellowship time. Returning Members may not need more than an hour to complete the Orientation circuit, while New Members will probably need closer to 2 hours. There is a lunch time planned on campus as well, so plan to bring a sack lunch, hang around and visit to get to know some of your fellow members.
Orientation Day Activities
- Meet our Leadership Team Members and many of our Teachers.
- Leadership Team Members have a Purple Ribbon; Teachers have a Red Ribbon
- Take a tour of the Consortium campus.
- Follow a map for parents and teens, and scavenger hunt for kids
- Visit our Photobooth and have your picture made for your ETC ID Badge
- Go over the details of the Code of Conduct and learn about ETC's discipline policy
- Visit the playground, enjoy a Popsicle, and make a new Friend – OR - spend a few minutes fellowshipping with other Teens and some of their parents
- Visit with the school Nurse if your child has serious health issues
- Verify your Account as in good standing, set up a payment plan, or pay your Consortium Tuition Bill
- Get training on using the Dashboard, the online learning management system built into ETC's Website
This Orientation Day or July 29th is MANDATORY for every Consortium Student Kindergarten through 12th grade and at least one parent.
There is NO CHILDCARE available. Plan to bring your kids along through the circuit.
EVERYONE Plan to attend our First SOCIAL of the year - 11:30-12:30 .... Finally, "Picnic" with some of your Neighbors. We'll have some group announcements and interactive games. Get to know other members who have children your children's age, live in your hometown, have teenagers in their family, are new to homeschooling, or just moved to the area.
