The 2025/2026 Take the Stage! program will take a giant leap forward, becoming a complete training in musical theater.

The program will include a year long, two hour Musical Theater Production class to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-3:30.
- Each participating student will be guaranteed to be part of the production either onstage or as part of the theater tech team working backstage.
- The Theater program will work with the ETC Choir program and will culminate in a musical theater production in the Spring of 2026.

- Fall units will include:

• theatrical makeup
• dance for musical theater
• singing for theater
• costume design
• set design
• audition techniques
• basic acting techniques.

- Spring units include

• auditions
• stage movement/blocking
• production design
• the rehearsal process.

After school rehearsals and tech are planned for the final week of school at ETC in May 2026 and will last two weeks of May. 

• All parents will be required to help during rehearsals.
• Expenses for each student will include a theatrical makeup kit and costumes, in addition to class tuition.
• All students and families will get to be a part of the marketing team.

The show will take place on two nights in May 2026. The performance will be ticketed, with 2 tickets provided to the family of each student at no additional cost.
