Wise Computing Academy To All Instructors

About Wize Computing Academy of Northwest Arkansas:  We offer coding & robotics enrichment classes & clubs for students from preschool through middle school.  We bring the technology, teachers and project-based learning curriculum to the school's location, following CSTA's K-12 Computer Science Standards.  Our programs are designed to meaningfully extend STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) learning and expand a child’s mind through the development of critical thinking, logic and reasoning skills.  

Our curriculum is built for students age 4-16 and covers the following topics (some topics designed for older students only): 

• Programming Adventures using MIT Scratch & Scratch Jr
• Engineering & Robotics using Lego WeDo, Lego Mindstorms, Vex Robotics and other popular engineering & robotics kits
• Design & Use of 3D Printing Technology
• Web Development using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Mobile App Programming using MIT App Inventor
• Minecraft Modding
• Interactive Programming in Python
